When it comes to the financial side of operating a successful practice and planning for what’s coming down the road, both professionally and personally, Kim Beckett acknowledges she tends to worry.

“I want to be sure we’re doing everything right and preparing for the future the best we can,” said Kim, who serves as the business manager for her family’s medical practice Vero Vascular Surgery and Skin & Vein Therapies in Vero Beach, Fla. Her husband, Dr. Clark Beckett, is a vascular surgeon.

“Since we are a small office, I do a lot. But I am not an accountant and that is not in my wheelhouse – my education is in all sales and marketing and business. But I have Debbie [Crum] and she has made sure I am hooked up, with our payroll, moving to Quickbooks online … I feel like as technology as evolved and changed, so has Rehmann and they have helped me do the same,” she said.
