Current Role

Tom provides audit and review services to many of the firm’s significant clients in Florida, and leverages unique experience with technology and SaaS companies. As a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor, Tom is also frequently involved in due diligence engagements where he works with corporate development teams, venture capital and private equity groups in their financial due diligence of target companies. Tom also assists sellers in developing exit strategies and in maximizing enterprise value.

Experience

Tom joined Vestal & Wiler in 2012, which combined with Rehmann in 2022 to offer an expanded level of service. He has gained significant experience working with clients in the technology, SaaS, venture capital, professional service, construction and contracting, and staffing industries.

• Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
• As a military veteran (USMC, USAF), Tom has served as the Treasurer of Florida Association of Veteran Owned Businesses and was a 2016 Orlando Business Journal Veterans of Influence Honoree.
• Actively involved in his community, Tom is the President and Treasurer of the Gotha Rural Settlement Association.
