Melissa’s focus is on the manufacturing industry where she has experience with automotive, plastics, paper and steel products clients, in addition to experience with private equity clients.

Melissa’s positive client interactions are rooted in her desire to always be a hands-on leader, passionate about empowering others to succeed.

Experience

Melissa joined Rehmann in 2022, after spending 12 years with a private equity-owned steel products manufacturer. She held roles there such as vice president of finance, and human resources and information technology roles.

Melissa has more than 20 years of manufacturing experience overall, including cost accounting, Epicor and ERP implementation, data management and presentation, managing relationships and expectations with lenders and board of directors, and employee development and performance.

• Through participation in the Eastern Michigan Manufacturers Association and Rehmann’s manufacturing and plastics groups, Melissa stays ahead of developments that may impact her clients.
• As the current Treasurer and an active member of the Women in Defense of Michigan group, Melissa is engaged in supporting women and men across Michigan who contribute to national defense and security.
• Melissa is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
