Current Role

A key leader with Rehmann’s Jackson office, Marc directs the office’s advisory and tax department, providing guidance to associates and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Marc provides trust, gift and estate tax compliance and consulting services to help families plan for their future. He works closely with individuals to determine assets and implements tax strategies.

As a business taxation advisor, Marc provides tax compliance and consulting services to a variety of companies, with a focus on those in the manufacturing industry. He listens to client needs and concerns, then customizes integrated service teams to help clients achieve their goals. He is currently advising businesses on new standards related to financing, tax reform and industry developments to ensure each company has a sound financial plan in place.

Experience

Marc’s public accounting career began in 2003 and he joined Rehmann in 2013. He has more than 15 years of experience providing trust, gift and estate tax services. Marc has provided tax planning, tax compliance and tax consulting services to individuals, families, partnerships and businesses throughout his career.

• Marc leads estate, gift and trust training sessions at Rehmann and at local events throughout Michigan.
• Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Actively involved in his community, Marc is a member of the Jackson Area Estate Planning Council, the United Way of Jackson County (board of directors), the Ella Sharp Museum (finance committee) and the Western Youth League (board of directors and treasurer).
