Current Role
Doug develops creative strategies that help clients work toward meeting their financial goals, integrating asset management, retirement plans, family CFO, and succession planning with overall business and financial plans. He works with a cross-functional Rehmann team to proactively guide each client, considering tax law and efficiencies, estate planning, and accounting needs along the way.

Experience
Doug began his financial services career in 1992 and has supported high net worth individuals and their families, business owners, healthcare professionals, and not-for-profit organizations. He has extensive knowledge of personal wealth management, and the many facets of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
Doug’s experience has qualified him to take a leadership role at Rehmann as well as direct Rehmann’s local financial advisory team. Prior to joining Rehmann in 2001, Doug was a financial advisor at Michigan Diversified Financial Services, LLC.
Doug achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation from the American College and his CFP® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He regularly attends industry functions to learn the latest in planning techniques, tax law changes and new products.

- Doug is an active member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association of Michigan.
- Actively involved in the community, Doug recently served as president of the Rotary Club of Jackson and has served on numerous other community boards.
