As a firm-wide leader of Rehmann’s closely-held business practice, Dave serves as the executive for numerous clients receiving commercial audit, review and compilation services. He is also charged with leading our electronic auditing software (IDEA) champions team, ensuring associates receive proper training in order to provide clients with streamlined assurance services.

Experience

Dave began his career in public accounting in 1999 when he joined Rehmann. He has extensive experience providing commercial assurance services, with an emphasis on closely-held businesses and employee benefit plans. Dave has connected a number of clients with professionals across Rehmann service lines to accomplish their goals. Additionally, Dave has completed corporate returns for C corporations, S corporations and partnerships.

Dave’s knowledge of commercial engagements has qualified him to lead firm initiatives related to audit documentation and training procedures. He is highly experienced with IDEA software, widely used throughout the public accounting industry.

• Actively involved in his community, Dave is a past president of the Country Club of Jackson and serves on the board of trustees for Spring Arbor University.
