Rehmann is pleased to announce that associate Ross Cotherman, CPA, received the Alma Lee Loy Community Service Award from the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce during the chamber’s gala on Friday, May 13 at the Vero Beach Museum of Art in Vero Beach, Florida. Established by the Indian River Chamber of Commerce in 1995, the Alma Lee Loy Community Service Award recognizes an Indian River County resident who has shown distinction as a committed citizen both professionally and privately in the Indian River community.
“We are proud to have a member on our team like Ross who has dedicated his time and talent to the development of his neighbors and local community,” said Jeff Phillips, Regional Managing Principal of Rehmann. “Ross stands as not only an example to the Indian River County public, but to the firm as well, signifying the importance of community involvement.”
A principal of assurance and financial reporting, Ross oversees assurance services at Rehmann’s Florida’s offices. His service areas include privately held companies, agribusiness and strategic planning. In addition, Ross is the founding board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River and currently serves as the past chairman of both the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and the Mental Health Association of Indian River County.
“I am honored to receive this award from the Indian River Chamber of Commerce and thank both the chamber and Rehmann for supporting me and my ventures within the Indian River County community,” said Ross. “This opportunity is a reminder of how my professional work can extend to my neighbors and emphasizes the importance of being a public servant.”
