Rehmann appoints two senior managers in Jackson office
Rehmann is pleased to announce the appointment of two associates in Southeast Michigan. Teresa Choate and Ginger Burke-Miller will both assume roles as senior managers of governmental and not-for-profit services.
- Teresa Choate: As senior manager, Choate will provide CFO consulting, higher education consulting and reporting, audit preparation and management, financial policy and procedure development, and grant compliance and reporting. Her clientele includes but is not limited to school districts and higher education institutions and municipalities. Having served previously as an Outsourcing Manager at Rehmann, Choate most recently worked as a Michigan community college controller. Choate received her BA in economics and management from Albion College. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the West Michigan Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants.
- Ginger Burke-Miller: After serving as a chief financial officer at local Michigan municipalities, Burke-Miller joins Rehmann as senior manager to serve local government entities. Her service areas include governmental and not-for-profit financial management and budgeting, financial policy and procedure development, budget development and financial reporting, organizational management and CFO consulting. Burke-Miller is a graduate of Michigan State University and received her MBA from the University of Phoenix. She served as a board member of Michigan Government Finance Officers Association from 2018-2020, Treasurer from 2020-2021 and Vice President from 2021-2022. She is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada and Michigan Treasurers Association.
