Rehmann Welcomes Julie Killian as Principal of Assurance and Financial Reporting

Rehmann is pleased to welcome Julie Killian, CPA, as Principal of Assurance and Financial Reporting. She will be based out of the firm’s Troy office where she will be a key member of Rehmann’s Assurance and Financial Reporting team, working directly with clients on their financial statement audits and employee benefit audits, as well as assist in implementing technical accounting standards throughout Rehmann’s practice groups.  

“Julie’s vast experience in the public accounting field has given her an elite level of skills and knowledge that will benefit Rehmann and our clients,” said Kelly Bebow, Director of Assurance & Financial Reporting at Rehmann. “Her deep understanding of accounting and auditing standards will be invaluable as she works closely with our team and supervises and manages financial statement audits.” 

Killian has spent over 25 years servicing privately held manufacturing, distribution, third-party logistics and professional service firm clients. She has experience working with family, individual and private equity-owned entrepreneurial businesses in the U.S. and internationally. Killian has also worked as a controller in a small business, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges small businesses face when preparing for audits.

Killian is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in Accounting. She also is IFRS certified, a member and Vice Chair of the Private Companies Practice Section Technical Issues Committee with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member and Chair of the Audit Committee with the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
